Stock Quotes

Create your own portfolio and track your favorite stocks by adding stock quotes to your site. After you install stock quotes on your page, visitors will be able to get detailed stock information, charts, and recent news stories — all from Yahoo! Finance.

List only the stocks you want.
Allow visitors to search for the stocks they want.
Choose from three different layout styles.

To install Stock Quotes, follow the steps below.

Adding Stock Quotes to Your Page

Step 1:

Submit a title for your stock quotes. If left blank, your stocks will display without a title.

Step 2:

Choose a currency for your stock quotes.

Step 3:

Enter the ticker symbols you would like. Add as many as you wish, just separate them by spaces.

If you don't know the symbol for something you want to track, you can look up any stock, mutual fund, or market index by name.
Or, try our alphabetical listing (stocks and funds only).

Step 4:

Select the text and background colors for your stock quotes.

Change a color by selecting the item you would like to change, then pick the color you want.

Or just type in the color.

Step 5:

Click either "Preview Stock Quotes" or "Generate Code".

Step 6:

Copy and paste the following HTML code into your web page.

Step 7:

Click "Go To File Manager", select the file you would like to add stock quotes to, paste the code in, and save. After your file has been saved you must return to this page and complete "Step 8".

Step 8:

You must activate your stock quotes for them to display on your web page, click "Activate Stock Quotes".
